    Story

On Event Wellbeing Day, 9 March 2022, Church House Westminster is proud to participate in a new event industry fundraiser organised by EventWell. Event professionals are asked to spread some PositiviTEA with the objective to bring people together to talk and open conversations about mental health.

The team at Church House Westminster usually hosts an internal well-being coffee morning every Wednesday for their teams, however this Wednesday the team has organised a bake sale to accompany the coffee morning to raise funds for this campaign.

Sue White, Head of Client Relations and Mental Health First Aider at Church House Westminster, comments: “There’s no denying that the world is looking different for a lot of us now - for a variety of reasons. This is exactly why we dedicate a weekly time slot for us all to gather round, have a cuppa, and check in with each other. Talking about how we are feeling is important in helping us support each other, raising awareness and supporting better mental wellbeing in events.”.

Did you know that one in three event professionals experience poor mental health such as stress, depression, anxiety, and burnout every year? By supporting our PositiviTEA coffee morning and bake sale fundraiser, you can help in a number of ways:

    · Raising £30 could provide an unemployed event professional with a grocery shop.

    · Raising £90 could provide an event professional with an hour’s talking therapy with a qualified therapist.

    · Raising £100 could provide a week’s worth of food and groceries to an event family in need.

    · Raising £250 could provide an event professional with a hardship relief grant to cover rent, mortgage, or utility arrears.

Please give generously. We are grateful for your support.
