Story

Positivity by Post sends out care packages all over the UK to anyone struggling and having a tough time. Brightening people's days with a little snail mail 🐌📮❤️✨

On the 24th May 2024 Positivity by Post turned 4!! To celebrate, we are trying to raise £400 for the project. Please donate if you are able, it really means a lot to this little non profit, just trying to make a difference to the day of someone struggling. £3 covers the cost to post out a care package 😊 Shout about the project and share our social media posts, as this is a huge help.

About Positivity by Post:

The project began during the first lockdown in May 2020 when Charlotte was struggling with her mental health. A surprise parcel from her younger sibling inspired her to start sending free care packages to others facing tough times. Since then, Positivity by Post has become a beacon of hope, bringing joy and support to countless individuals. Positivity by Post has provided over 1,500 care packages across the UK since it began!

Charlotte’s efforts have garnered immense support from the local community in Hinckley. Supermarkets such as Morrisons, Asda, and Tescos have generously donated towards the cause. Charlotte has also focused on aiding local services that support vulnerable individuals. During the lockdown, she partnered with Feed the Hungry in Hinckley to include care packages with food parcels for struggling families. Recently, she donated packages to Leicester Rape Crisis for the women they support and has established connections with the job centre for referrals.

In addition to care packages, Charlotte's project extended its reach during the last Christmas season. She coordinated the creation and distribution of over 400 handmade Christmas cards to local hospitals, hospices, and care homes, ensuring that severely ill children and other vulnerable individuals had a reason to smile during the festive season. Barwell Community House played a pivotal role, hosting a Christmas card-making day that resulted in 250 cards.

Happy 4th Birthday Positivity by Post 🥳
