Hello,

I am currently a student at university lucky enough to study my favourite subjects, Physics, Mathematics, and Russian. I aim to go on to attain a PhD in Physics in the next few years, in what area specifically... I am not quite sure.
My long term goal is to become an astronaut. As you can imagine, it is a very difficult job to get into and requires a broad skill set.
I am trying to be the best candidate for the job but also I just enjoy learning new things. At university I volunteer at a local observatory where I give tours and occasionally teach Physics and Maths to visitors - I am a keen science communicator. This year I became the chair of the BSL society and began teaching introductory level BSL as well as the charity secretary for the physics society. I also attend the local gym 5-6 times a week where I practice gymnastics. I try to be very self disciplined but I am quite partial to binging on corn flakes in brief moments of weakness. Wild, I know. Also a keen cyclist, climber, sailor, and guitarist. I hope to go on to learn to paramotor, skydive, scuba dive, and one day maybe wingsuit?

Working nights in my students union bar is just about enough to become financially independent but not quite enough to fund flying lessons, hence this page. I have been funding my flying lessons so far by working summer jobs and saving what money I can whilst at uni. I am currently 3/45hrs into flight school but I would like to get a lot more under my belt in the next few years. I do not expect to meet the target of this page but I think it is better to at least try. Any money towards my goal is better than none at all! I must stress that there are many people in much greater need than me so please consider them first before donating. I am determined to fly with or with out the help of generous donations but this may bring my dreams a little more in reach!
