In February 2025, our Managing Director, Jothie Walford, was diagnosed with Stage 2 breast cancer.

She’s a mum of two, a passionate leader, and the heart of Gtech. The news came as a huge shock — with no family history, it was completely unexpected.

“The first thing I thought about was my children. I didn’t want them to grow up without a mum,” Jothie said.

That’s why we’ve launched this fundraising campaign – to raise a total £100,000 to support life-saving cancer research, treatment, and care for others facing the same diagnosis.

We’re supporting three incredible charities that make a real difference:

Cancer Research UK – leading the way in understanding why rates are rising and how to cure it

Macmillan Cancer Support – offering vital support to people through their toughest moments

Worcestershire Breast Unit Haven – our brilliant local centre, providing hands-on care, advice and comfort

How We’re Raising Money

At Gtech, we’ve created the AirRAM 3 Pink Edition, a special version of our cordless vacuum cleaner, with 20% of profits going to these charities.

But we know not everyone needs a vacuum – which is why we’ve set up this page, so you can still support the cause, no matter how big or small the donation.
