Story

T-Exchange (Moray Firth Makerspace) are busy making hundreds of potentially life-saving face visors for local health centres and other facilities. We have been supplying visors to a variety of medical centres and other facilities in Moray. These include Forres Medical Centre, Elgin Community Surgery, Moray Coast Medical Centre @Lossiemouth and Elgin Medical Centre (Maryhill), GMed, Very Sheltered Facilities, Home Care and Childcare Hubs.

With any extra money raised we will purchase additional PPE materials so we are able to offer the PPE visors to a broader range of users in Moray.

*Due to the funds donated here we have recently been able to extend our visor range to include some PPE single-use foam visors, as used at Raigmore Hospital. They will be available soon.

Should the circumstances change where supplies are no longer demanded, we will donate any leftover funding to a local NHS-related charity.

Recently we delivered over 550 face mask relief straps to Dr Gray's hospital. The straps pull the elastic away from your ears (see photo top right). We have also supported Moray PPE Hub with visors, Sheltered Housing centres, Midwife Services, Pharmacies, Moray Reach Out, Aberlour Primary Enhanced Provision and a number of individuals who are shielding in their own homes. If you know of anywhere or anyone who would benefit from our free visors and face mask relief straps please contact us through our contact form at www.moraymakerspace.com.
