    Story

In this historic moment, the world has been overcome by something invisible. COVID-19 has quickly brought us to our knees and made us appreciate the importance and value of our amazing healthcare providers. Men and women that everyday fight a battle for us and our lives, in and out of hospitals and care homes, while having little in the way of protection for their own health.

At Prescient, we want, with your support, to take an active part in helping healthcare workers and show our gratitude for what they’re doing.

Whatever amount we raise will be matched by the company on a weekly basis. If we raise £250 during a week, the company will donate £250 and the total £500 will be split between the three charities, ensuring they will receive the much-needed funds on a regular basis. If the combined individual and Prescient donations exceed £2,500 over a prolonged period of time, Prescient will match that amount again up to a maximum of £10,000.

We have identified three charity organizations in India, the UK and US to which we plan to route our donations:

    India: PM CARES Fund

    • This is a government-owned national fund set up with the primary objective of dealing with the COVID-19 pandemic. The donations will be used to create or upgrade healthcare/pharmaceutical facilities or other necessary infrastructure, fund relevant research and provide other support

    UK: NHS Charities Together Campaign

    • This charity acknowledges and supports NHS staff, volunteers and patients impacted by COVID-19. This primarily includes funding well-being packs/gifts for staff and volunteers on wards/departments, providing devices to patients to communicate with friends and family whilst in hospital or isolating, and offering longer term mental health support

    US: Help 4 Hospitals Fund

    • This charitable organization has two main aims: to acquire, distribute and deliver PPE to healthcare workers, including janitors, and to coordinate with food delivery services and have meals sent to hospitals
