The elderly and the young..... so many spend Christmas Day in hospital without a visit, many because they have no family or friends. The chances are they may not see anyone apart from the wonderful nursing team caring for them!

Last year on Christmas Day morning we visited seven wards at Royal Devon & Exeter Hospital with gifts for 70 patients, we brought smiles, tears and laughter to each and every one of them. We funded this ourselves but sadly we couldn't visit them all because of limited funds and therefore limited presents.

This year we would love to pay a visit to a whole lot more and visit Torbay Hospital too! BUT we really would appreciate your help to buy more gifts and help to make their day memorable for all the right reasons!

£500 will enable us to buy as many presents as possible to distribute. We will again be adding £250 over and above the target and I anticipate at least 200 smiles and a chance for them to know we ALL do care too!

Every single penny raised will go towards presents only, we pay for our own fuel and for our own costumes. We even have our Christmas Day on Boxing Day so we can dedicate the time to this cause!

When we are all sat at home opening presents with our families and friends, there are so many not even opening their mouths, with no-one to talk to. We can all make such a difference!
