BAHASI is a childrens home near Bangwe, Malawi for children affected by HIV/AIDS providing them with a place to live and an access to education. We also run a number of programs to help support the wider community such as a womens program, a home based care program and a pre-school.

BAHASI runs a woman's empowerment tailoring program, which focus's on training woman how to sew and make their own clothes. This empowers these woman by teaching them a profitable skill allowing them to be self-sufficient. Not only does this program benefit these woman, it is also an IGA (income generating activity) for BAHASI. By selling the products made we will be able to use the profit to support our other valuable programs and projects.

However in order to keep this important program running we need funds to be able to buy the recources needed such as material. With your support, the vulnerable women in our community can become self sufficient and we can run a successful programme with the necessary resources.
