Story

Priory Colts Football Club is a contemporary NEW local football club, which started up in Blantyre earlier in 2017.As you can see they have strips, but no sponsor!

Blantyre Project and Blantyre Telegraph are fundraising through all of October 2017 to hopefully provide a donation to the club, to assist with promotional material including money for further strips and equipment. Blantyre Project and Blantyre Telegraph have already pledged some of their own money for this and via this page hope to boost this further.

Please DONATE anything you can, from as little as a £1. Your money will go a long way and will be spent entirely by the club. Fundraising ends on Friday 27th October 2017.

More about the Club

The football club started by giving the boys in the local community something to do and to keep them ‘off the streets’. They coach players at a young age and are hoping to have a successful time running the club. They're also in discussions with Blantyre Soccer Academy who are in a strong position to take the club forward.

The club is run by co-founders Callum Coghill, Dylan Orr, Kyle McKirdy and Shay Cunning.

Calum told us, "It started with very few boys but with the equipment and time put into the venture, they grew quickly into a great community club to pass time for the boys. We hope to register the team and give an extra club to the Blantyre area and grow as much as they can to develop players at any level."
