Pro Primary Sports Colour Run Fundraiser Finale at Tudor Primary School Summer Fair on 7th July 12pm-3pm
Hi, I’m Mr Zavros, I work in education and own a small sports company that aims to provide opportunities for children to learn and socialize through sport. Of all the many places I've worked and teams I've coached, at Tudor primary school I have been incredibly lucky to work with the most amazing children and meet so many wonderful families over the last 9 years. I’ve had the joy of being part of such a positive and helpful community. Community is so important, coming together for a cause shows the support and help we have all around us and always results in smiles and achievement.
With so many budget cuts in schools, it is always a challenge every year to buy the equipment the children need to learn along with experiences for them to have to stay inspired and motivated to learn. Having become so fond of such a great community, last year I decided to sponsor and hold Tudor’s first colour run fundraiser to teach children the value of community and enthusiasm to achieve the things we need together. Also to raise moeny for desperatley needed new equipment. Following everyone’s huge effort getting sponsors from local friends, families, shops and of course the colourful memorable fun run to end with, the Tudor community raised nearly £2000.

I was thrilled and completely amazed. That gave us a solid start in building a foundation of funds to spend back on the children every year to constantly improve learning.
As a result of your efforts, this year I’ve watched children faces light up when some got taken to see England at Wembley, thanks to your help I’ve watched 55 of our girls be inspired on a day out to the women’s FA Cup final at Wembley.

All of key stage 2 got to relish a day to see the table tennis world cup at the Copperbox Arena. Along with so many other positive impacts, we have been able to start providing children with the best equipment possible, which has further improved our PE environment this year and hugely impacted children’s skill sets, progression and performance. If young people are imparted strong moral values, excellent education and are taught good health, then nothing can stop them from reaching great heights of success.

Without you none of this years achievements, medal winners, trips and resourceful lessons would have been possible. Please continue to support my efforts to help Tudor make your children’s school sports environment remain a happy, active and enthusiastic place to enjoy their learning.
How often do we get an opportunity to become associated with something big? How many times do we get an opportunity to look back as a community and decide how to make things better? Well last years colour run we did that and this year it can be even bigger. If we can achieve last years efforts to raise money and try even harder this year, our future of learning can only get better. Thank you and keep supporting. We will be successful because Tudor’s children and family community always put in the time, all the effort and all the hard work so I know our teamwork will pay off. Let's make this year's colour run even BIGGER and next year's PE even BETTER!!!
We are all so proud and grateful and will always aim to give your children the best learning environment.
