Story

The incredible logistical feat of setting up Project Nightingale is coming to an end, and now the hard work of the doctors, nurses and admin staff begins. Project Nightingale consists of two temporary hospitals, in London and Birmingham, to help the NHS cope with the sheer volume of COVID-19 patients that are expected to need medical intervention and ventilation in the coming weeks.

Three weeks ago, Powerday, in response to the crisis, started work on a temporary system to support the hard working healthcare workers in their area. Chefs, logistics, admin and drivers all helped to deliver up to 800 hot meals a day to those that really needed them. BITA has decided to support Powerday with this initiative as they push further in anticipation of the needs of the newly converted ExCeL Centre, and are now asking for your support.

All monies raised will go directly towards paying for their hot meals service to help our nurses and other healthcare professionals do their job. any assistance is greatly appreciated.
