Story
Fife Kinship Care has 440 young people right now who are potentially not going to receive a gift this Christmas. Kinship care takes place when a child can no longer stay with their parents, for whatever reason, and goes to live with an aunt, uncle, grandparent or close family friend. Kinship Carers receive very little monetary help to care for the child in what can sometimes be very difficult circumstances.
Our aim is to raise awareness of this great service, recognise some of the challenges faced by families, through no fault of their own, and make a small contribution to try, with your help, to address this and ensure we share what we have with those who do not.
All money donated will be used directly to buy as many presents as possible for children aged 0-17 up to the maximum value of £10.
We want to raise much money as possible for presents but all additional
funds will go towards our other projects during the year to help those most in need.

Project Present
We are a group trying to assist the workers of the Fife Kinship Care team by providing Christmas presents, school bags and all other things that many of us take for granted. Although we are not a register charity as of yet, we are well on our way to becoming one.
