Fundraising is hugely important to this Project as is raising the awareness that Homelessness is very real in our community.

on the 21st of April between 12.00 and 15.00 myself and one other were sponsored to spend time shut in medieval stocks... This was to highlight the very real sense of being trapped in a situation which Homelessness and all that comes with it can bring.

We have continued with the fund raising to try and reach the target set, as the money raised here will go towards a deposit and first months rent for one of our homeless and vulnerable young ladies who desperately needs to be safe and indoors.

we have men and women (estimated at about 50 in total) rough sleeping every single night... be it in tents or doorways. These people have no access to toilets, water, or the means to just make a cup of tea, on top of which they are exposed to all the elements and are often the victims of abuse and violent attacks.

The objective of Project 16:15 is to show, through simple acts of kindness, that each and every person has value and worth, regardless of where they sleep what path life has led them down.

We do not judge, condemn or discriminate... and we show through our actions that all are worth enough for us to go to and meet right where they are at.

All funds raised through this event will go towards continuing the work of Project 16:15, improving and expanding the Homeless Breakfast Delivery and hopefully pushing as closer to the target of obtaining a premises in the heart of our town.
