Project 8 Racing has been supporting and raising awareness on behalf of the Walking With Giants Foundation (WWG) throughout the 2018 championship season . WWG is a privately funded organisation, without any national or government funded aid WWG is set up to provide help and assistance to the families of children suffering from the incredibly rare genetic disorder (there are less than 500 known cases worldwide) known as Microcephalic Primordial Dwarfism (MoPD) as well as raising awareness amongst the general public and the National Health Services.

Without private donations WWG would not be able to continue with the great work and all the support that it has provided over the past 10 years. It is through the organisation of fund raising activities, such as the 2 Hour Endurance Karting event that the Project 8 Racing is running at the Thruxton Race Track at Andover in Wiltshire on Saturday 24th November 2018, that WWG is able to provide support and encouragement to these individuals and their families in any way which is charitable in accordance with the law in England and Wales.

Funds raised in this way also go a long way in funding and organising its regular major convention, held annually in Liverpool, that brings children and families affected by MoPD together from all over the world.

HOW TO ENTER AS A TEAM OR INDIVIDUAL

To enter a team for the 2 hour Endurance Karting event to take place at the Thruxton Race Circuit on Saturday 24th November starting at 12:00; simply "HIT" the "DONATE" button above and book as follows:

1. To book a team of 4 drivers please donate a minimum of £300.00 which covers the cost of the entry fee charged by Thruxton and provides a £100 donation per team which will go straight to the WWG Charity ..... or

2. To book as an Individual please donate a minimum of £75.00 which covers the cost of the entry fee charged by Thruxton and provides a £25 donation per individual which will go straight to the WWG Charity ...... or

3. If you can't race but still wish to join us for the day, or even if you can't join us for the day but still would like to donate, please just "HIT" the "DONATE" button.
