Story
We are an NCS group based in South Tyneside- one of the only areas in England which still has funding for youth groups. Even in our local area we find that most youth groups are facing financial difficulty as they are provided with little government funding; seeing this issue, we decided to support one of the remaining youth groups in our area: the Young Carers Association. We are hoping to raise £500 to enable a group of the children they support to spend one day having a much needed break from their everyday lives.
As well as our this page, we are holding several events, such as an activities day, a bake sale and a sponsored walk in an attempt to reach our goal.
