‘Because everyone deserves some Sparkle’

In December 2015, with the love and support of all of your generous donations, we were able to provide a free sit down Christmas meal and presents to 77 people. On the day there were tears of joy, feelings of hope, happiness and laughter. From an 8-year-old girl thanking us for her only Christmas present, to the elderly 90-year-old who would have otherwise spent Christmas alone. We were truly humbled and overwhelmed by the gratitude of those who attended.

As we look forward to Christmas with our families, surrounded by love, light & food, many will experience a cold, hard and lonely Christmas, faced with domestic challenges, social and economic deprivation.

Our aim is higher now. We need your support in providing 100 free sit down Christmas meals and 100 presents to those most vulnerable on the 14th of December 2016.

We are working with Ascend; a charity focused on supporting individuals with disabilities, mental health issues and many who are isolated from society. Alongside Ascend we are working with the local food bank, Church, and other organisations to identify those most in need.

In addition to donations, our guests enjoy company, and that is you! We would be delighted to have you volunteer on the day; this would entail everything from preparing and serving food, to talking to and hearing the stories of those attending.
