When we moved to this area, the green space in the middle of the two rows of houses was wild and overgrown. One of the neighbours has taken it upon himself to clear the field, grow grass and plant bulbs. It is quite beautiful what this man has done. He has planted the bulbs in the most beautiful patterns like stars and hearts. A very talented gardener and He works so hard. He has no help. I think he must enjoy it but its still an awful lot of work for one person to do. He currently mows this huge space with a push along petrol lawn mower And i hope he wont mind me saying that hes not a young wipper snapper!! I have two young children who love to be outdoors but we have no safe space for them to play. We have used this space a lot over the summer months for picnics and for them to run around and play. I really want to say thank you to him for creating this space for us all to enjoy. I would love to make it a bit easier for him to continue maintaining this beautiful field by buying him a ride on lawn mower. I would be over the moon if i could raise enough to give him this gift that he so deserves for working so selflessly hard.
