An estimated 15 million babies are born premature every year. These babies are often given blankets and hats from the Hospital to keep them warm.

I have a lovely friend who spends a lot of her free time knitting tiny hats and blankets that she donates for the special care units at West Suffolk Hospital.

We are setting up this page to try and raise money to buy more wool to knit more blankets and hats, as the hospitals rely on knitters and kind donations!

1 ball of wool costs just £1.99, and knits 1 blanket or 3 hats. We have set a goal of £199 as this would buy 100 balls of wool - which would total 100 blankets or 300 hats!
