Over the past 4 weeks our small beautiful 11th century church has been broken into 4 times. First it was the garden tools and equipment that was stolen, this meant the graves and garden was not able to have the attention they needed weekly until more were bought. Next it was the vestry lead window and inside the cupboards were turned upside down. Then when we thought they had got bored they came back and took some candles sticks and damaged the coin box that was fixed into the wall. To our much disappointment they yet again came back today and took more candles sticks and a small statue. As you can imagine it is a sad day when we need to ask for help to protect our church. CCTV and window alarms is going to be needed urgently before any more damages happen or items are taken.
