I've raised £1500 to help make Christmas a special one for children and young people across the Falkirk Council area

The Provost’s annual Christmas Appeal has launched and is looking for donations to ensure that children and young people get a sparkling Christmas.
Can you help make Christmas a special one for children and young people across the Falkirk Council area where local families need our help in keeping the spirit of Christmas alive for their children.
Through this Just Giving page, we are asking Falkirk Council employees and local Elected Members to donate whatever they can to make one collective difference to so many local families.
Last year, with your support, an amazing £4,160 was raised to help local families in need.
Your support will help local people, like mum Caitlin (name has been changed)
“I am telling my three children that Santa likes to recycle toys and that he wants to be environmentally friendly as I can't afford new toys this year. I am hoping to get some second-hand toys from charities.
I know it sounds good for the environment, but the main reason is I don’t have enough money to buy new toys. Receiving some support will mean I can make sure I have enough food, and if there is money left over, maybe the children can get new toys from Santa.”
Every year employees pull out the stops and help keep the spirit of Christmas alive for many local children and young people who would otherwise go without at this time of year.
I’m asking employees and Elected Members to help local families get the Christmas they deserve and donate to the Provost’s Annual Christmas Appeal. Your donation will help make this a special Christmas for every child and young person.
