I've raised £300 to buy new books for the wards and children who are undergoing radiation therapy at the Palatine Treatment Centre.

We are raising money to buy new books for the wards and children who are undergoing radiation therapy at the Christie.
I am an Usborne Organiser and Usborne has helped lots of Schools, Community's and Charitys raise thousands of pounds for books.
The Christie NHS Foundation Trust is located in Withington, Manchester, and is one of the largest cancer treatment centres in Europe.
The Christie doesn't just help patients over the age of 16, they also have a unit for children from birth up until 16 at the Palatine Treatment Centre.
I have personally been in contact with Penelope who is a play specialist and paediatric support coordinator at the Christie.
Penelope was so happy when I got in contact and said that it was such a wonderful idea and that the ward and children will really benefit from this.
As of September they will also be starting another treatment in this unit and more children will be attending.
The Christie is close our my family and friends hearts.
Around 2,000 staff and over 300 volunteers work at the Christie and put everything in to all that they do.
We really want to give something back.
We will be hand delivering all of the books.
