I've raised £10000 to Help support Peterborough Rugby Club

When the Rugby Football Union decided to suspend all fixtures back in March, we took immediate action to cut our costs and put plans in place to secure our future as a community rugby club. The financial implications of this situation on our club cannot be overstated.
Every rugby club has a heavy reliance on bar and event income as a main source of revenue, therefore, the cancellation and postponement of home fixtures and events is a significant issue, particularly as a large amount of costs will still be incurred regardless such as insurance, utilities, security, pitch maintenance, etc. during this period. To compound the issues, we’ve also had to cancel other fundraising events that were planned. Our team of volunteers have really stepped up and helped to ensure facilities were available and Covid secure to enable us all to access the club.
We recognise that this may be a challenging time for many people, however, the club has been contacted by a number of fans sympathetic to the financial situation we face and are asking how they can make a financial contribution at this time - we welcome donations from anyone in a position to do so.
