The Portishead Christmas Lights Team are a bunch of Volunteers who give up their free time to make Portishead the best festive town in the west !

The volunteers work all year round to ensure the display is maintained and gets better every year.

In total, there is over 100 volunteers who have a range of skills from Electricians, artist, Olympic standard ladder holders to name a few.

The annual cost of the Portishead Christmas Lights every year is around £20,000. Whilst we do get a wonderful grant from our council, the majority of our monies come from sponsors, events and generous donations all year round.

With the current situation that hit all of this year, all the event we organised and are involved with have been cancelled. Which means we have lost a lot of our income this year.

The good news is that the lights are still going up this year despite the above. To help us secure the lights for the next few years, we need your help. If you can, please donate via our just giving page. .
