Story

PUFC CHARITY FUNDRAISER 2026

Helpful hugs provide emergency toiletry packs to parents whose child has been admitted unexpectedly to hospital.

Following on from last year's hugely successful fundraiser in aid of Sophies Story, we (PUFC) are back this year with another fundraising effort on March 7th. This time for local charity Helpful Hugs who specialise in emergency toiletry packs to families/carers who face extended periods in hospitals or specialist care with kids. A really fantastic thing to do.

The guys will be cycling around Caithness visiting every football ground along the way, starting and finishing in Dunnet in a relay type event. Full route will be roughly 120 miles with a player/coach going between football pitches. Some nice short sections and some really tough ones!

We will be sharing right up until we get going and any donation would be massively appreciated. Below is a link to both the just giving page and the Helpful Hugs facebook page for more info.

Thank you all from Pentland United FC
