Crofton Saints Pumas are the newest of 3 under U12s teams run by the Crofton Saints Youth Football Club, having played together for 2 full seasons now. Every year the club's under 12s teams have the opportunity to take part in an overseas tour, which is a great opportunity for the boys to travel together as a team and play in a tournament against youth teams of all different nationalities. 

The club contribute towards the cost of the tour (which is in Holland next April), but this year this amount will be shared between 3 teams (rather than the usual 1 or 2).

The Pumas players, parents and coaches have been undertaking a variety of fundraising activities with the aim of raising enough money to fund the tour costs for all 20 players in the squad (parents and supports will fund themselves). So far we've raised around £2,000 through quiz nights, a beat the goalie competition, participation in the Great South Run 2016, car boot sales and most recently a cake sale.

Several players are entering this years Junior Great South Run on the 21st October with the aim of boosting our tour fund. Not to be out done, our manager, coaches and one of our parents are running in the full 10 mile event on 22nd October (hoping to better last years times?!).
