Story
I've known Katherine since our university days and she's one of the brightest and warmest souls I have ever known, as well as one of the strongest.
Katherine has been fighting stage 4 cancer with incredible spirit for years, but now - due to a bureaucratic technicality - the NHS are no longer able to fund her vital ENHERTU chemotherapy. Her only way to access this life-extending drug is to pay for it herself at the costs of £7000 for every 3 week cycle.
All money raised here will go direct to Katherine to support these costs and help her (and her amazing 8-year old, Poppy) afford to continue with this essential treatment.
You can follow her journey here:

As tradition demands, I will be undertaking a physical challenge to encourage good people to donate to this very worthy cause.
On November 13th I will be attempting to complete 3000 push-ups in 12 hours. The most I've done in one sitting before is 2000, so this seemed like a suitable upgrade!
Of course, the challenge is just a way to bring your attention to Katherine's situation, and hopefully to get you to give generously to support her and her daughter in their time of need. So get donating!

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with Justgiving -they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, I will withdraw funds directly and pass them on to Katherine. This is the most efficient way to donate and saves time and costs.
Thank you!
