Weʼve raised £1,072 to Help fund a new defibrillator for PUYFC the Bowl football stadium

Funded on Tuesday, 31st March 2020

    Story

We now have over 150 players registered to the club, as well as their family and friends that come along to watch each weekend.

with a defibrillator at the Bowl stadium, every player and every spectator will have access to a life saving defibrillator should the worst happen.

    Some real statistics......

    1. If a defibrillator is used within 3-5 minutes the chances of surviving a cardiac arrest jump from 6% to 74%

    2. Without a defibrillator, 95% of cardiac arrests prove fatal

    3. Only 40% of bystanders watching a Cardiac Arrest would perform CPR

We are out in all weathers playing and loving our football, we are aiming to re assure ourselves a bit more when playing or watching the sport we love.

So please help us and our ever growing club to have the added security of a portable defibrillator to hand so that potential fatalities in the event of a cardiac arrest can be greatly reduced.

A local company will make up the difference when we receive £500 in donations. Believe me we don’t want to use this defibrillator, but the nearest one to the Bowl is in Easton Square ❤️This a life saving device which is needed. Please show your support❤️

Great idea by a great youth setup. Let’s hope we never need to use it, but having one is a necessity.
