Story

My son Yousuf (23 months old baby) has rare genetic cancer called ALL + Philadelphia ( change in chromosome). He is having reguler treatments at Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH). But we have been recently told that the chances of cure in the UK is very slim for this type of cancer. However there is currently a trial in America for this type of cancer but unfortunately the UK government will not be paying for his treatment as they not in that study so therefore if we want to take him there we will need to pay for it privately. We need about £50,000 for the 6 months of treatment.

Yousuf the day before admitted to GOSH (23/08/2017)

Yousuf in ICU back in August 2017 ( doctors was considering turning off life support).

Out of hospital in late November 2017( doctors at this stage missed the diagnosis)

Admitted back to GOSH in early February 2018 and after 1 week he was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukaemia (ALL) + Philadelphia.

chemotherapy treatment ruptured his bowel in March 2018 and treatment was stoped due his health condition.

Yousuf spent 1 week in ICU in early April due to the sergeant left 3 gauze inside his body when doing surgery on his bowel.

He is currently out of ICU into a cancer ward. He can't walk or eat.
