Story

Alhamdulillah, as we have all witnessed, communities across the UK and beyond have contributed passionately and overwhelmingly for the family of Qari Riyazuddin Sahab (Rehmatullah Alaih). All the donors can rest assured that all of the money raised will be invested in a manner that will secure the long term future of Qari sahab's family, so that they can live as comfortably as possible and his children can have good education ان شاءالله.

May Allah Almighty reward all those who contributed to this noble cause in both the worlds and give immense Barakah in their wealth.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Mā shā Allāh we have had an overwhelming response on the initial target of £50k supporting Qari Riyazuddin's family to cover their debts.

JazākAllāhu Khair for all those that have donated.

Your support has inspired us to take this cause further. Can we continue to support Qari Sahabs family by helping secure the future of his elderly mother, widowed wife, and orphan kids.

May this be a means of reward for you in the Aakhirat.

‎آمِيْن يَارَبَّ الْعَالَمِينْ

With the above task in hand we have increased the target to £100K.

Narrated Sahl (RadiAllāhu Ta’ālā Anhu)

Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "I and the one who looks after an orphan will be like this in Paradise," showing his middle and index fingers and separating them. Sahih al-Bukhari 5304

It is with deep sorrow that we have to write this message,

Early hours of Sunday 16th Jan 2022 we lost an honourable member of Sunni Dawate Islami, world renowned Naat Khwan Qari Mohammed Riyazuddin Ashrafi Rehmatullah Alaih. He was returning to Manchester after attending a Naat Mehfil at Masjid e Quba in London and passed away in a horrific car accident.

Qari Riyazuddin Ashrafi travelled from India to spread the word of Allah and His Beloved Prophet Mohammed Mustafa ﷺ and devoted his entire life in the Khidmat of Deen. Personally mentored by Ameer Sunni Dawate Islami, Hazrat Maulana Shakir Ali Noorie (Hafizahullahu Ta'ala), he was a Hafiz and Qari who touched the hearts of millions with his sweet and beautiful recitation of the Qur'an in different parts of the world. He ignited the love of the Beloved Prophet ﷺ through his melodious recitation of Naats.

Due to his dedication for Deen work and his immense talents, Qari sahab was invited to the UK by Huzoor Mufakkir e Islam Allama Qamaruzzaman Khan Azmi and was visiting the North Manchester Jamia Masjid.

Qari Riyazuddin leaves behind his elderly widowed mother, wife and 2 young children aged 6yrs old and an 18 month baby along with 8 siblings residing in a village near Bikaner in the Indian state of Rajasthan.

Qari Sahab recently built a house for his mother in the village, the payment of which is partly outstanding. He also recently bought a house in Mumbai for his wife and children for which his family and friends need to be repaid. He wasn’t wealthy, nor was he comfortable, he was just making do with the bare minimum Allah had provided him and his family with.

Today, not only do we mourn the death of Qari Riyazuddin and the absence the community will feel without him, we mourn the loss for his family that was dependent on him.

We plea with you all to come together to support this blessed cause so that Qari Sahab's debts can be paid off and the future of his family be secured. Every penny raised will go towards Qari sahab's family.

No words can be said to make this moment easy. Only that may Allah grant him the highest rank in Jannat and give him a status of a martyr. He has returned to his Lord with such an honour, having a great heart that cared and loved those around him. Those who knew him would only ever describe him using beautiful kind words.

May Allah make it easy for his family during this most difficult time and grant them sabr jameel.

May Allah accept all our donations and reward you, your family and your Marhoomeen in both worlds. Ameen.

The Beloved Prophet ﷺ has taught us -

Those who help others, Allah will help them
