Many a time have young people taken their own llives due to mental health issues. Its devastating in every aspect for family & friends alike to lose a loved one, wishing that person had called out for help and wishing they could have helped in some way. Mental health issues can be very isolating, people feel very alone and sometimes think no one can help or will understand. Not everyone finds it easy to talk about how they are feeling, not everyone knows how to reach out for help. I have seen how mental health issies have affected people in my life and help hasnt always come along in time. I know in particulat that men find it difficult to talk about their problems which can have devistating consequences. I would like to make a differenrce and raise money for “Get The Boys A Lift” a worhy charity for mental health & mental health awareness based in the heart of Wales. I felt the need to make a difference, raise awareness and raise money for this worthy cause by walking from Bristol to kidwelly. I will start my walk on Monday 24th May 2021.
