You may already be aware of the tragic death of Doris Post, who taught languages at QM for 27 years before her retirement in 2019. She was dedicated to her students, a highly respected and much valued colleague and dear friend to so many. Doris was hit by a car whilst on the pedestrian crossing in Lower Rushall Street on 13th July.

At the request of many friends, colleagues and former students, a ‘Book of Condolence’ is to be set up on the QM school website in memory of Doris Post who died in tragic circumstances. Please send messages to tributes@qmhs.org.uk

We would also like to fund a memorial bench for Doris in Walsall Arboretum in her memory.
