On behalf of the Trustees of Qur’ani Murkuz Trust, I am honoured to inform you about the redevelopment project of South Woodford Muslim Community Centre and Masjid, London E18 which has been servicing the whole community for 25 years.
QMT serves a vibrant and multicultural community. Its essential activities and functionality are being constrained by its limited size.
In April 2019, after many years of hard work and adversity, planning consent was granted for a new 10,000 sq ft contemporary purpose built design. Demolition is planned for early 2020 with a build cost of £2.25M approx.
I welcome you in becoming a part of this exceptional project and help us build a visionary facility for future generations which will include, improved prayer hall, modernised classrooms, enlarged prayer and meeting facilities for ladies, modern wudhu area, kitchen and cafe facilities.
New residential flats will be on the top floor, to generate continuing long-term income.
