On 1st May 2017, the 'Quaker Pace Committee'; Judith, Hannah, Jonny, Stephen and Elena will be running the Belfast Marathon as a relay team. We are aiming to raise some funds for Quaker Cottage.

Quaker Cottage is a cross community family support centre which provides services for some of the disadvantaged areas of north and west Belfast.

The teenage programme, for 13-23 year olds, provides a safe environment which aims to increase social skills and personal confidence, improve life skills and encourages the young people to develop respect for themselves and others. This is done through a range of 8-10 week programmes including participating in a story telling project.

Each teen group is offered the opportunity to go on a residential trip to Corrymeela, Ballycastle. This is a highlight for the young people and serves to build relationships between the participants.

We are aiming to raise funds to enable one group of teenagers to participate in a residential to Corrymeela.
