I've raised £1000 to Fundraising for this project is officially closed :)

RAAH FC formerly known as Victory FC, was created by Sahid Jalloh in 2016 when, frustrated by the lack of opportunities for young Sierra Leoneans in his community. Seeing the deep connection that football and sport has to all aspects of life here, Sahid dreamt of using the Victory FC as a tool to help those in need.
Previously in 2016, we were able to sponsor 15 players to live in an apartment nearby. By providing a home for them they could better focus on their practice and their education. We are delighted to announce our free-school has expanded since then. We are proud to say that we are serving over 150 youth, all who are regularly attending classes with our 6 teachers and having over 60 football players regularly attending training/matches.
We believe that football is filled with opportunities to learn life skills and progress. By introducing our community to an organised football team we wanted to enthuse young people to connect and share the responsibility of being in a team.
We knew that through this we could help players with other aspects of their lives. From pursuing education and careers to finding housing and looking after themselves.
Would you like to be part of this incredible project? It is the beginning of something much bigger.
