What is crowdfunding?
Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered charity.
The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.
Story
It has been many years since I last wore my running shoes and I have never taken part in a race longer than 10K. On 19th March 2017 I will be doing my first half marathon in Brentwood in aid of Sighthound Stopgap.
Carly has taken in many hounds who until now have had no life at all and several have come with medical problems. I have been inspired to take on a challenge so that I can help ensure that Sighthound Stopgap can continue to help hounds in need. Please give what you can to this great cause.

10 months agoI am very disappointed to say that my health has meant that I have to pull out of this half marathon. My immune system is not working properly and I have severe joint pain. I have now been referred to specialists for further investigations. My doctor has advised that I shouldn't put my body under any additional stress. I will therefore close this crowdfunding page. This will result in your sponsorship being refunded. If you would still like to donate the cause here is the link http://www.sighthoundstopgap.org/donate Thank you
