This November I will be swimming 22 miles (35406 meters), the distance of the channel to help raise money for a new hoist for the Staunton Harold Sailability Trust.

The Staunton Harold Sailability Trust are a registered charity offering sailing and waterborne activities for disabled children and young adults and older people throughout Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire and Leicestershire.

They also offer the opportunity for less mobile sailors to continue sailing when a conventional dinghy may be a little too much for them to handle.
