Why are we raising money?

We are raising £2,000 to fund a memorial bench in loving memory of our beautiful daughter, Lorena, who very sadly passed away at just 10 weeks old.

The bench will be placed at St Luke’s Churchyard, Mow Cop, close to where Lorena’s ashes are laid to rest. It will be a peaceful place for family, friends, and anyone who wishes to sit, remember her, and reflect.

As Lorena’s parents, having a permanent place to visit means more than words can express. The bench will give us somewhere to feel close to our daughter, to talk to her, and to remember her together — a place of comfort, love, and quiet reflection where her memory will always be honoured.

The funds raised will go towards the bench, plaque, and installation.

If we are fortunate enough to exceed our £2,000 target, any additional funds will be donated to the Royal Stoke Neonatal Unit, who cared for Lorena and supported us with such compassion during the most difficult time of our lives.

Fundraising Night

We will be holding a fundraising night in memory of Lorena on Saturday 28th February at The Roaring Meg, Biddulph (ST8 7EJ). The event will take place the weekend before what would have been Lorena’s 2nd birthday, making it an especially meaningful opportunity for us to come together, remember her, and celebrate her life while raising funds for her memorial bench.
