Story

We’re raising funds to help two remarkable young athletes, Rosie Swinnerton and Marv Kang, proudly represent Team GB at The World Games 2025 in Chengdu, China.

At just 17 years old, Rosie and Marv made history by becoming the first-ever English doubles team to reach the finals at the ICU World Championships. Competing as juniors in a senior division, they stunned the world with a 6th place global finish—earning a coveted invitation to The World Games, the second-largest multi-sport event in the world after the Olympics.

These two incredibly driven athletes train under Team England Freestyle Pom, a voluntary nonprofit organization that supports England’s top dancers. The pair's extraordinary teamwork and resilience have brought them to the global stage.

However, getting to China is expensive, and they need our support to cover:

Flights and accommodation for Rosie and Marv (£3,500)

Coach’s flights and on-site accommodation as they are minors (£8,500 total)

Chinese visa assistance, UK travel, and training wear (£1,800)

Total needed: £13,800

As a community, we can help them live this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to compete as Team GB and inspire a new generation of athletes. Every donation, no matter the size, brings them one step closer to the world stage. Let’s help them make history—together.
