💪 From ICU to the Summit: My Journey to Give Back 💙

On June 4th, 2024, my life changed forever. I was found unconscious at home in septic shock and rushed to the Grange Hospital. Emergency surgery for a ruptured ovarian abscess saved my life—but complications kept me in a coma for two weeks and in hospital for a month. Just Four months later, I faced another emergency surgery on the other ovary. Thankfully, this time I caught it early.

Now, one year later to the day, I’m taking on a huge personal challenge: climbing Pen-y-Fan—despite the muscle weakness and fatigue I still battle daily from post sepsis recovery. Why? Because I’m alive. Because I’m grateful. And because I want to give back.

The ICU and Gynaecology wards at the Grange saved my life. The nurses were incredible, but it was clear they were stretched thin and under-resourced. So every penny I raise will go directly to support them—because they deserve better, and future patients do too.

Help me turn survival into support.
