I've raised £500 to continue with Steve Woods' plight to raise money for the Queen Alexander Hepatology and Liver Ward.

As you all know, Steve struggled with his health over the past couple of years. The Hepatology and Liver Ward at QA hospital have been there for him every step of the way. Not only did they provide the most amazing health care for Steve, but they became close friends and a huge part of his life. Therefore, instead of receiving flowers for the funeral, we would like to ask people to make a donation. Steve was adamant that all donations and any money raised went straight to this fantastic ward, to help buy specialist equipment.
Unfortunately, due to circumstances out of our control, we can only have twenty people attending the funeral. The decision on who to invite has been incredibly challenging; Steve was loved and adored by so many and it really does sadden us that not more of his nearest and dearest are able to come together to celebrate the life of the man who touched so many people's hearts. With this in mind, we will, as soon as we are allowed, be holding a Celebration of Steve's life at AFC Portchester. We have everything crossed that this can take place in the summer.
We would also like to take this opportunity to thank you all for your love and support. We have all been so blessed to have had this amazing man in our lives and we hope to continue to raise money for causes that Steve held close to his heart.
With love,
Carole, Simon, Drew, Ryan, Rachael, Evelyn and Nieve xx
