Mums and Manager Tackle the Yorkshire Three Peaks for Hessle Rangers
On April 11th, a group of us from the U16 Girls football team—mums Rachel, Angie, Emma, Stevie, Becky, and Clare, along with our amazing team manager Vicky—are taking on a huge challenge: the Yorkshire Three Peaks. That's a 24-mile route with over 5,200 feet of ascent, all to raise money for the Bilsdon Park Pavilion project.
As many of you know, our girls' team is part of Hessle Rangers CIC, a club that's been growing for nearly 50 years. The club has over 500 members, from young kids to adults, and they've made huge strides in developing girls' football. But the facilities at their home, Bilsdon Park, haven't kept up.
Currently, the club has over 35 teams sharing one small cabin with a single female toilet, and they have no proper changing rooms or meeting spaces. It's a real challenge, especially for the girls, and it's time to build a proper home for the club.
The club has already raised over £50,000, and with your help, we can get them closer to their £20,000 goal to complete the funding. Every single donation will go directly towards building a new pavilion with changing rooms, proper toilets, and a community space. This will not only give the players the facilities they deserve but also create a hub for the entire community.
Please sponsor us as we take on this epic walk. Your donation will make a real difference and help create a permanent home where Hessle Rangers can continue to thrive.
Thank you for your support!
