I'm raising £15000 to help with adaptations, further rehabilitation & physio as once a week is not enough

Story

We have had a few messages from people wanting to donate but are unable to attend the fundraising day & have asked for a donation page to be set up.

People that know us, know that we would absolutely help anyone & have done in the past.

The non-traumatic subarachnoid haemorrhage (meaning it wasn't due to an injury) that Chris suffered is a rare type of bleed (trust Chris).

Early detection is so important & life saving as this type of bleed is often misdiagnosed. We are so thankful to the medical team in Spain for this. On top of Chris suffering this rare bleed, he suffered a second bleed during the operation in Spain & also suffered complications, infections, meningitis & numerous setbacks. It's a miracle he's alive, let alone come this far. Elements of Chris's injury will affect him forever & our lives have changed.

From the start of this horrendous journey I have spent more time in hospitals than a full time employee. I have helped & pushed Chris (he is building up to telling me to do one lol) to be as independent as possible, it's important for his quality of life. We need to make adaptations to the house & continuing with physio is a MUST for Chris to continue with his recovery. NHS resources are very limited once back in the community & we are finding that cause we have worked bloody hard in life, that help for us is almost non existent & I know we are not the only ones.

We can't thank you enough for your help & support during the last 13 months x
