Story

Pangolins need our help. They are the most widely trafficked wild animal in the world. They are being illegally traded and murdered for their scales for Chinese medicine and also for food. They are passive, solitary creatures whose defence mechanism is to simply roll into a ball making them extremely easy to poach. The organisation REST in Namibia is working hard at rehabilitate pangolins back into the wild and educate local people. Things are really serious for these lovely, unassuming creatures so I'm forcing myself to swim around Brownsea Island in Poole Harbour, UK to raise money for these people so they can carry on their worthwhile work for the pangolins.
