I am a retired Paralympic Champion from (hand cycling & rowing) now heavily involved in local community grassroots Sport. I am raising money to be able to purchase a specialist wheelchair which will enable me to 'run' the London Marathon (a dream I've held since being a runner 20yrs ago)

If I am lucky enough to raise more than the chair is worth £4500 the figure I have listed is because this will enable me to purchase a cross country wheelchair. This is now a crucial part of my world post, #ParalympicsGB & will enable me to deliver specialist coaching within the community to today who are marginalised from sport.
I work with many schools and young people who are struggling and both chairs will offer me the ability to deliver bespoke mental health support to children/young people using sport and The Great Outdoors. Personally it will also give me a place in my local mainstream running club and compete in road & cross country events.
