Story
Mental Health Mission Stress induced illness is the number one cause of teenage illness in the UK today. It is also the number one cost to business. By the age of 18 - 20 almost a quarter of the population will be suffering from a mental health issue - many of which can kill.
As many of you know, six years ago my wonderful husband suffered from a stress induced illness that took two years to recover from and then, just three years ago, both of us were forced to stand by and watch helplessly while our gorgeous son dealt with the excruciating pain caused by anxiety.
Happily, they are both fit and healthy again and, with the right kind of support, this could be the case for the many thousands of people still suffering today.
Now I would like to raise as much money as possible to help provide that support.
So, through my company Resilient Me, I am launching the Mental Health Mission from Monday 4th September.
It's a fun scheme designed to improve the mental health of anyone taking part and, if you choose to raise money at the same time, it will also improve the mental health of others. Win - win for everyone!
You simply choose from a list of missions which you then carry out for a period of 30, 60 or 90 days earning yourself a bronze, silver or gold MHM award.
I am going for gold and my mission is to 'Lose the Booze' for 90 days.
Anyone can take part. It's easy and it costs nothing. Just go to the website www.resilientme.co.uk for full details.

It is my dream to be able to support as many people with mental health issues as possible - through increasing awareness of the problem and educating people on how to help themselves and how to help others.
