BLOOD DONATION:
Join me in raising money to help fund the NHS's blood donation/transfusion Charity.
It was 23 years ago that I was saved by a blood transfusion during the birth of my daughter. Something went terribly wrong after the CS and I lost a lot of blood, including having another operation (D&C), I stayed in the hospital for 40 days before I could go home. I received 8 pints of blood (4 bags), to enable me function again.
I want to thank all the Nurses and Doctors, thou its 23 years ago, I will never forget, I might not be here to tell this story now if not for them.
Because I am a receiver of blood, I can't personally donate blood, hence, I am doing this fundraising to help fund research for the NHS blood donation charity.
