I've raised £400 to Raise funds for two amazing charities "The Brickmakers Wood Project" and "Merrylegs Charitable Trust"

A friend once told me to do good after being an amazing friend to me his wise words have made me have the courage to put myself out there and challenge myself. I have to be honest I am not the most fit and I am a little over weight lol, but have started cycling this year, not a Lycra clad cyclist I might add, and I do get out of the way for cars. I have been through hell in the past few years and I am changing that and my wonderful nephew Lewis is being the most fantastic support. Cycling has been the only exercise I have found that does not cause me pain after an operation and is really helping my mental health and wellbeing. So Lewis and I have decided to do a 20 mile cycle ride on the 7th October 2017, now to many this may not seem much, but for me it is huge. We will be cycling from Holbrook to Alton Reservoir all round the inside which is rough terrain and then all around the outside via the road back to the starting point in Holbrook.
We have two very worthy projects:-
One is The Brickmakers Wood Project in Ipswich, that offer sessions for children and vulnerable adults and transform run down, town centre woodlands into free sanctuaries for people living with Cancer or terminal illnesses. https://www.brickmakerswood.com/
The other is Merrylegs Charitable Trust, based in Whittlesey, Peterborough where they offer rescue and homes for animals. Providing veterinary treatment, feed, water, shelter and love for all those animals that need it. https://www.facebook.com/pg/MerrylegsCT/about/?ref=page_internal#
All donations will be split in half. We also have individual sponsorship forms if people would prefer to donate in a different way
Both Charities are dear to mine, Lewis' and my families heart.
Lewis and I are doing this in memory of our dear lost friend Trooper. Forever in our Hearts.
