Story
Hello!
I'm Rachel and I am a second year student. I have an incredible passion for what I do. In July 2018, I have been given the wonderful opportunity to be able to go on a nursing placement in Uganda for 4 weeks, however I have to fund the trip myself.
The cost of the trip is £1495, and this doesn't include my food and drink for the 4 weeks, or the cost of any vaccines or malaria tablets that I will need.
I would love to be able to fund this myself, but currently this just isn't possible. I am only getting £2880 this year with my NHS bursary and my maintenance loan combined, and I need that money to be able to travel to and from uni and placement.
Any help at all towards this would be incredible and I will be forever grateful!
