Story

🚲CYCLING THE EQUIVALENT OF LANDS END TO JOHN 'O GROATS 🚲1000 miles! THE LENGTH OF THE COUNTRY

Turning miles into pounds and pounds into helmets!!🚴‍♀️💷🪖

Raising awareness of helmet safety!! Also to challenge the council to secure land for the pump track by the time he reaches John Of Groats!!

STARTED 1ST MAY GOING THROUGH TO 6TH SEPTEMBER......

Jamie knows how important it is to wear a helmet and its 2nd nature to him. If he didn't wear his helmet he couldn't take part in all the activities he loves such as BMX coaching, BMX racing, mountain biking events and more. Even if he is going on a local ride bike or to a pump track he always make sure he as his helmet on.

£300k of funding was allocated in principle on 7th March 2026 from Lichfield Community Levy Fund with a 6 month timeframe for a pump track to be built in Burntwood! Now this as been extended for another 6 months to March 2027.

Will Jamie make it to John 'O Groats?

Will the council have worked together for the good of the community and secured the land?

Let's see what happens!!😁🚲🚲🚲 Some lighthearted Fun and positive pressure!!

We are hoping to give as many helmets out at maybe a pump track open day in the near future!!

If you would like to support Jamie's challange then please drop him a sponsor! Any amount is great! Thanks in advance!

Jamie will be tracking his miles on his bike computer!! Watch this space!!!

Ps:Remember Jamie is doing this around school, Homework and everyday life.
