My sister was crossing the Mersey gateway and failed to pay the £4 toll which resulted in a £10 fine. (Nichola) our sister was 'so gutted' to receive this fine which ended up being 'a bloody expensive journey'😰. She is in the stages of appealing this fine as she said she did try to pay but the website was broken. She has asked for advice on her Facebook page too asking 'what grounds could she appeal on'🤔. She is now blaming our other sister as it was her she was visting and the reason why she was crossing the bridge in the first place. I think maybe she lost her key which opens the padlock on her purse 🙄
